Penn State Lehigh Valley opened its first art gallery in September 2010 with support and funding from campus leadership. The donor, Ronald K. De Long, reflects on what motivated him to name the gallery and create the scholarship.
PSU-LV’s Ann Lalik designed a sterling heart, based on Truth for Women’s logo. The heart can be used as a bracelet, necklace, charm, or bookmark. Lalik’s non-credit Arts Project students volunteered to help finish and polish the 200 charms 1月uary 15 at Penn State Lehigh Valley. January is National Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention month.
"Fiber Deconstructed: Alison Bessessdotter, Jill Odegaard, Barbara Schulman" will be on display Jan. 21 to March 24 in the Ronald K. De Long Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley. The exhibition explores diverse approaches to textile and fiber arts.
