Raymond Ghelardi and his wife Ellen, of Fort Myers, Florida, have provided the gift to create the Ghelardi Family Open Doors Scholarship for Penn State students enrolled at the Lehigh Valley campus.

Chancellor Tina Q. Richardson hosted 12 international students from China at her home on Oct. 4 for a dinner to welcome them to Penn State Lehigh Valley. Richardson spoke to the students about what an integral part of campus they are and how their experiences help make the campus community what it is. Other campus attendees included: Interim Director of Academic Affairs Douglas Hochstetler and his wife Heidi; Director of Student Affairs Tom Dubreuil; Director of Enrollment Management Denise O'Neill; and Northeast Regional Global Education Coordinator and International Student Adviser Angela Jeon-Huh.
