Nicole Ryerson, assistant professor of psychology at Penn State Lehigh Valley, researched the impacts of COVID-19 on college students and found helpful coping mechanisms for mental health.
The psychology program at Penn State Lehigh Valley gets students ready to take on the world. Students have opportunities to travel overseas to study with other universities and complete internships to gain experience. With three degree options, the program prepares graduates to enter careers in fields with a high demand for qualified candidates, or to make a seamless transition to graduate school.
Penn State Lehigh Valley has expanded the number of spring break travel opportunities offered this year. During spring break (March 9-15), Lehigh Valley campus faculty and staff are leading more than 75 students on trips to Great Britain, Ireland, Mexico, and Peru, as well as Massachusetts and West Virginia.
